This notice covers www.maritalaffair.com, the information website you are reading. It does not cover the members area, where you create and use an account; that has its own members privacy policy.
Who is responsible
This website is run by Ambervine Inc, a Delaware company, 131 Continental Drive, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA. Ambervine Inc is the data controller for personal data processed through this website.
What this website collects
Very little. This is a static information site.
- No cookies. The website sets no cookies.
- No advertising or tracking scripts. There are no analytics, advertising, social media or tracking scripts on these pages.
- Hosting logs. The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, Vercel's servers record technical data when a page is requested: your IP address, your browser and device type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used for security, to keep the site running and to diagnose faults.
We don't use this information to identify you, build a profile of you or market to you.
If you type your email into a join box
Some pages have a box where you can start joining by entering your email address. When you do, the address is sent to the members area at members.maritalaffair.com so that your account can be set up. From that point, it is handled under the members privacy policy, not this notice.
Remember that profiles created in the members area are shared with partner sites in the same network. The members privacy policy and our discretion page explain what that means.
Why we process this data
We process hosting log data because we have a legitimate interest in keeping this website secure and working. We don't sell it or share it with anyone except our hosting provider and, where the law requires, public authorities.
How long it is kept
Hosting logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security and performance purposes and then deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, data protection law, including the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and the privacy laws of several US states, gives you rights over your personal data. These typically include the right to ask what data is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its use and, in some places, to opt out of its sale (we don't sell it).
To use any of these rights in connection with this website, contact us through the members help centre. Because this site collects so little, we may need details such as the date, time and IP address of your visit to find any record.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the data protection regulator where you live. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner's Office. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Children
This website is for adults. Membership is open only to people aged 18 and over (21 in Alabama, Mississippi, Nebraska and Wyoming).
Links to other websites
Our pages link to official bodies, helplines and charities. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
Changes
If we change how this website handles data, we will update this page and the date below the title. This version applies from 17 October 2026.
For anything else, see our terms of use or contact us.
