Trouble logging in? Start here

In short

Log in to Marital Affair at members.maritalaffair.com/login. If you have forgotten your password, use the reset option on the login page and the link goes to the email address you registered with. Checkout shows the billing name your statement will carry; cancel in Settings > Billing and delete through avatar > Settings > Delete Account.

Where to log in

The members area is at members.maritalaffair.com/login. Type the address yourself or use a bookmark rather than following a login link in an email or message you weren't expecting, because fake login pages are a common way to steal accounts.

Resetting your password

On the login page, choose the option to reset your password and enter the email address you registered with. A reset link is sent to that address. If it doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder, and make sure you used the same address you signed up with.

When you choose a new password, make it one you don't use anywhere else.

Still locked out?

Some accounts are asked to verify their identity before they can continue, for example when they are used through a VPN or have been flagged by an automated check. The check is run by LEM Verify and needs a photo of your ID and a selfie. If you are stuck at that step, or anything else stops you logging in, contact the help centre.

A charge you want to understand or stop

Membership payments appear on card statements under the billing name shown at checkout. Every membership renews automatically until it is cancelled, so the usual reason for an unexpected charge is a renewal. To stop future payments, log in and go to Settings > Billing. The prices page explains how renewal works.

Leaving for good

Cancel any membership in Settings > Billing first. Then click your avatar, open Settings and choose Delete Account. The guide to cancelling or deleting your account has the steps with more detail, and the discretion page explains what the site shows and sends while your account is open.

Questions people ask

I don't recognise a charge. Could it be Marital Affair?

It may be. The billing name is shown at checkout when you pay. Memberships renew automatically, so a repeat charge usually means a membership that was not cancelled. Contact the help centre if you can't match it to an account.

I can't remember which email I used.

Try each address you might have used with the password reset on the login page. If none works, contact the help centre with as much detail as you can, such as the date and amount of a payment.
